Moments

Today is the last day of Kindergarten for Willard and Emma. I want to live in this moment forever, to stand once again with my arms stretched out and yell, STOP!! But, like sand streaming thru my fingers, it goes by So fast.
And, we are home unpacking there backpacks, reliving every moment they had over the course of the school year.
I will always remember, at pickup watching there little faces scan all the other moms, and when they saw me, a huge smile would emerge and yelling, MOM!!!
And, one day when Emma is a successful politician, lawyer, artist, doctor, chef(whatever she wants, no pressure), she would announce in front of the whole world....Thank you to her kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Domagola, for telling her parents, She is the hardest working little girl!!

And, Willard IV.....
Well, lets be honest.....He is going to be something BIG!! The moment he was born, I looked into those big blues eyes and I said, You little man are Willard Hemsworth IV! He will be accepting some big award for who knows what, and he will say, Thank you to my Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Domagola, for saying that I might be the IV but I am an original! And, Mrs. Whelan for teaching me that math was cool!

When you go out in the world, watch out for traffic, hold hands and stick together.
