Srping Break...

Spring break started on Friday. It did not start as planned...Thursday night Willard had a temp of 102. i, being pessimistic saw all of my plans for next week going down the toilet. And, visions of last years spring break started popping up in my head. 3 weeks of bad weather, indoors with 2 toddlers and an infant. We did not leave the house last year. And, this year I had planned something everyday. So, Willard went to bed, he and I slept terribly. But, he woke up with no fever on Friday, Yeah!! And, so we went and got Willard's haircut at the man place and then off to Trader Joe's. Bc, they have little carts for the little people and I needed some 3 buck chuck wine! I have moments of sheer panic where I think that I cannot leave the house with 3 children under the age of 6. But, off we went to Trader Joe's, where they were adorable and only put in what I told them into the carts. I was amazed! Mackenzie did have a break down, as we were leaving about a balloon. But, we carried onto nana and papa's. We invaded on there lunch, unannounced. Thankfully, pasta and grilled cheese were on the menu. And, nana and papa were excited to see us. So, all of next week is not lost. And, I look forward to leaving the house everyday. And, even though I will still have moments of panic and know we will not always be perfect in public. I can keep trying and hope for the best. Oh, and above, 2 pictures that Willard drew. We always talk about what an amazing artist Emma is. When Willard showed me these I was really proud of him.
